Branding Brand Named a "Cool Vendor" in Mobile App Development by Gartner

Branding Brand has been named a “Cool Vendor” in Gartner’s “Cool Vendors in Mobile App Development, 2015” by Richard Marshall, Van L. Baker, and Jason Wong. The report evaluates five vendors who are solving the complex needs of app leaders through innovative and mobile-friendly solutions.

“We’re honored to be recognized as a Gartner Cool Vendor for mobile app development,” said Chris Mason, Branding Brand CEO and co-founder. “When brands work with us, they tap into our collective network of expertise–something that comes from having 200 clients and a platform that powers five million shopping experiences a day. Analyzing this data allows us to treat shopping as a science and ultimately, build better apps.”

Mobile App Development is a new Cool Vendors category, which was added by Gartner to address the growth in mobile app enablement and optimization. The report offers recommendations for those looking to expand on their mobile strategy, including:

  • Evaluate new architectures and approaches to deliver services across multiple channels for customers and employees.
  • Look at ways to unlock the capabilities of legacy systems, because they will not be disappearing any time soon. Mobile strategists should use new approaches to present them in mobile-friendly ways.

“Mobile is becoming increasingly complex, but this doesn’t mean that your vendor list has to grow,” said Mason. “Whether you want to launch a new site or app, or simply need to improve the performance of an existing experience, we’re here to help.”
